<h1>Research and overview</h1>


In this short module you are expected to read and write about system
administration. You should think of it as developing both your communication
skills and your ability to follow the development of the field through
journals.
<p>
The course begins with an essay in which you are expected to write
up to 5000 words describing what Network and System Administration is
about, the length and breadth of the field.
<p>
Following this, you will pick one topic of special interest to you
and make a presentation of it to the rest of the group.
<p>
You will be judged on the quality and insight shown in your essay and presentation,
as well as on your own originality and creativity.
