Networking: Technologies and principles (MS003A) - course description
This course is part of the Masters degree in Network and
System Administration. The aim of this course is to explain the principles
and practice of networking technolgies and protocols that are used today, to
transfer and route information between hosts. To follow this course, you will
need to apply what you know from Operating Systems and Network and System
Administration I. You will need basic mathematical skills and will be expected
to read up on topics yourself. Analysis is a key part of understanding
networking, and you will be expected to develop a sufficient undertstanding of
the physics of communication and traffic flow.
